Give every Barbadian football talent a chance to improve through high-quality development programmes, with individualised training that supports a meaningful and successful football journey.
Developing the next generation
The Talent Development Scheme is a FIFA special project supporting the development of young footballers. In Barbados, the programme brings together communities, schools and clubs to help identify and nurture talent.
Through local coaching and a centralised BFA Academy-style environment, selected players receive more intensive training, football education and preparation for their next stage of development.
