The BFA currently conducts courses in the D, C and B Diplomas.

D Diploma

The BFA D Diploma coaching course is the first step of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Coaching Education Pathway and is intended primarily to provide a pathway into football coaching for persons with little to no experience playing the game or who have may not have received formal coaching from knowledgeable, certified coaches.

C Diploma

The Concacaf C Diploma coaching course aims to support grassroots student coaches in developing the competences essential to lead a positive, safe, and fun-filled learning environment. Student coaches will be provided with the tools to enhance the footballing skills of grassroots players and encourage their participation without discrimination while inspiring a lifelong commitment to the game both on and off the field.

B Diploma

The Concacaf B Diploma coaching course aims to support student coaches in developing the competences essential to lead the youth and amateur football environment. Student coaches will be provided with the tools to create a positive learning environment to enhance youth and amateur players’ footballing skills, knowledge, and attitudes. Throughout the course, student coaches will be encouraged to engage in reflective practices, whether formal or informal.
